There is a place for partisan politics, it's Washington and the statehouse, but not town hall. Keep Erv Portman serving all of Cary. "When we sit down at the council table we need be neighbors joining together to build a better community, not partisans dividing along party lines. I understand that streets, parks, open space, water and sewage are not partisan issues. I will continue to respect both the letter and the spirit of the law that says Cary town council is no place for partisan politics."
"Next time someone from Washington calls you up telling you who to put in Town Hall, respectfully ask them to call you back when they have fixed their issues in Washington." |
